Fre'Drisha "Sha" Dixon

for Inglewood Mayor 2026

Fre’Drisha “Sha” Dixon

My name is Fre’Drisha “Sha” Dixon, and I am a California-licensed attorney, executive leader, community organizer, and lifelong advocate for justice, accountability, and self-determination. I live in Inglewood, I raise my family here, and for more than 12 years I have worked alongside residents, workers, parents, and small business owners to protect this city’s future while ensuring that progress benefits everyone, not just a few.

I am the Managing Attorney of Dixon Law Partners, where I lead a multi-practice law firm serving clients throughout California State Courts and the Central and Southern Districts of the United States District Courts. As Managing Attorney, I oversee operations, strategy, compliance, personnel, and client advocacy across civil rights, criminal defense, contracts, family law, probate, and estate planning. This role requires decisive leadership, fiscal responsibility, and the ability to manage complex, high-stakes matters; skills that directly translate to executive municipal leadership.

At the core of my work is a simple belief:
the law and government should serve people, not power, and leadership must be both principled and competent.

My Vision for Inglewood

Inglewood is a city with deep roots, unmatched culture, and unlimited potential. But for too long, our community has been asked to accept rising costs, outdated systems, closed-door decision-making, and missed opportunities. I am running for Mayor because Inglewood deserves ethical and transparent leadership, modern solutions, and a government that truly works for its people.

For Black Americans, the fight against police brutality is not new, it is a continuation of a struggle that has spanned generations. From chattel slavery, civil rights marches, to today’s calls for accountability, Black communities have long demanded what every person deserves: to be treated with dignity, fairness, and humanity.

My vision is simple:
an Inglewood that is thriving, inclusive, accountable, and prepared for the future.
